This blog has been established on behalf of the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation by son and Board member Spiro Latsis. The aim of these pages is to provide information on the scientific research projects that received funding from the Foundation in 2014 and an overview of other projects supported by the Latsis family. There were more than 900 proposals submitted to the Foundation following a public call, of which nineteen year-long research projects were selected, of which seven fell into the social sciences and humanities sector, six into physical sciences and six into life sciences. Information about all nineteen projects will soon be available in the blog section of this website.
This site has a user-friendly interface to help you navigate and find the information you are looking for quickly. The menu bar to the top right allows you to move quickly between the blog pages, a bio of the John S. Latsis Foundation, information about services and an online contact form should you require further details about any topic covered on this site. Within each page to the right is an open search bar, including chronological lists of all recent and archived blog posts and a categories section, featuring quick links to the most searched for keywords.
